The little dirt road by our campsite had very fine, powdery dirt. That meant that every time a vehicle drove past a big dust cloud was picked up and deposited in our eyes, mouth, hair and food. It also meant that the little ones thought of it as a great playground. Not exactly a sand box.

I don't remember any of that. Was that after I left?
Yes, this was Sunday morning while we were all packing up.
My boys would LOVE that place! We have yet to take our kids camping, horrible, I know! We are always pregnant or have a newborn and I just am not super outdoorsy, but seeing how much fun you had makes me think I should at least let the kids experience it! Way cute pictures!
I've been reading all 4 Martin blogs of your trip. What fun you had! Now I have a new picture on the wall of my Morgan shrine--the picture from Stphanie's blog of him eating dirt.
I have questions. How'd you cook? What kind of meals did you have? How'd you keep food cool for 4 days? I'm a camping rookie, rookie, rookie when there's no elec around.
Thanks to all you Martins for the great pictures.
