Bedtime

Since I bought Elmo at the yardsale, Morgan insists on sleeping with him as well as his old teddy bear. So, whether it be nap or bedtime, this is how Morgan looks when I leave the room. One arm around each stuffed animal. Though, he's not always smiling so brightly. But, having Elmo has made Morgan forget about having a sippy cup when he goes to bed. Yay!

Hello from Oregon Coast. It was fog, fog, fog all of yesterday, but today the sun blazes into our terrarium windows. Matatuisi boys have been wave-boarding and tomorrow they'll try sand-boarding. Tree and I have spent $300 at the grocery store and we are awash in junkfood.
Tony likes desserts. To get to the ocean from our home, you can trip yourself down the steepish bluffs directly below us or walk a block to a more gentle incline. I miss the sea stacks of Oceanside and the tide pools. This beach is more like a true S. Calif. It goes forever.
Went to Sac Mtg yesterday and then everyone took the Sunday afternoon nap of their dreams.
Game playing & non-stop popcorn/ice cream commenced shortly after dinner until way late.

Oh--I forgot to tell you Matatuisi's did a heroic 1-day (18 hour) drive, arriving not long after us on
Saturday eve.

I read the first vampire book on Sunday. I summarize it as 400 pages of g-rated titillation.
I get why it's popular with teen girls, but not so much with adult women.

Tomorrow--picnicking at Cape Perpetua where Arielle may have some senior photos shot.

This house only barely fits 10 of us, but it is cute.

Love, Jana

wow, Jana, sounds like you need to make your own blog so we can all see pictures!

Uh, Melanie, you know you could always make one and call it "the if-I-wasn't-married HOTness list." Kinda like OJ Simpson's, "If I'd Done It" book, right? :)
